Blog author Brandon Ferdig creates human interest stories and commentary that brings to focus that which we ordinarily miss—that which was off in the periphery. Much of his work has been inspired by my time in foreign countries–mainly, East Africa, East Asia, and Latin America. His pieces have been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Minnesota Public Radio, and the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
